DETAILS: Join us at Heroes West Mobile for lunch, Epsilon Sisters fellowship, and learning about DKG World Fellowship. Please bring donations to help DKG World Fellowship and the American Cancer Society. We’ll, also, have some art fun with Adult coloring books!

WHAT: Once again we’ll serve dinner to the families at Ronald McDonald House— this is becoming an annual tradition!
DETAILS: Please watch your email for information about the date, time, and list if needed food items. Also, bring any soda can tabs you’ve been collecting.
APRIL:
WHERE: South Brookley United Methodist Church on Dauphin Island Parkway
WHEN: TBA (probably either April 9 or 11, 2019)
WHAT: Prepare. Easter Baskets fro the women and children at Penelope House
LEAD HOSTESS: Sandra Williamson
DETAILS: Bring Easter basket treats and materials for the women and their families at Penelope House.

WHAT: DKG is 90 years old— Let’s Celebrate!

DETAILS: A big ol’ birthday party to celebrate DKG’s 90th birthday and our DKG friendships!!

The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.

Purposes of Delta Kappa Gamma
To unite women educators of the world in a genuine spiritual fellowship
To honor women who have given or who evidence a potential for distinctive service in any field of education
To advance the professional interest and position of women in education
To initiate, endorse, and support desirable legislation or other suitable endeavors in the interest of education and of women educators
To endow scholarships to aid outstanding women educators in pursuing graduate study and to grant fellowships to non-member women educators
To stimulate the personal and professional growth of members and to encourage their participation in appropriate programs of action
To inform the members of current economic, social, political and educational issues so that they may participate effectively in a world society
